The 2020 5th International Conference on Financial Innovation and Economic Development (ICFIED 2020) was successfully held on January 10-12 in Sanya, China, which attracted huge attention from experts, scholars, engineering technicians and technical researchers in the fields of financial innovation and economic development. Without failing people’s expectation, we were honored to have Prof. Chung-Neng Huang, Prof.Vladimir Badenko, Prof.Maria Moshkevich and Dr.Arefieva Olga to co-chair this conference. We were also pleased to invite Senior A.Prof.Juann Hung from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China and Prof. Hj Kasim Hj Md Mansur from Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Malaysia to present us their marvelous keynote speeches.

ICFIED 2020 aims to provide an academic platform for experts, scholars, engineering technicians and technical researchers working in financial innovation and economic development to present their research achievements and development trends, and share the academic results and frontier technologies. This conference also intends to broaden the research minds of the scholars and practitioners, enhance academic research and exploration, and promote the cooperation to industrialize academic results.

The first International Conference on Financial Innovation and Economic Development was held in 2015. Ever since then, we hold this conference annually. Until now, we came to the fifth conference. We’ve gained a lot of achievements from the preparation of this conference. Therefore, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the organizers, authors, and IOP Publishing.
