Abstract

This study will be focuse on the effect of social comparison on implicit self-esteem and self-evaluation. The study is about how unconscious process may be affected by social comparison. The study is based on hypothetical study data and Meta-analysis. By comparing the result from different groups of participants, I tried to find is the role model and or individuals who people look up to influencing how people evaluate themselves, is people started to idealize themselves? Or there is not effect on the evaluation. The significance of the experiment is to see whether self-esteem and self-evaluation can be influenced by the social comparison.
