- Abstract
This paper focuses on the research of virtual reality of space-time in contemporary European neo-figurative painting. In general, there are two virtual modes: box spacetime and stage spacetime. In this paper, works of such contemporary European neo-figurative painters as Adrain Ghenie, Michaël Borremans and Neo Rauch are taken as cases for analysis and demonstration, based on which the reasons and significance of style is discussed.
