Abstract

Solar energy is a pollution-free,ÿinexhaustible energy. The use of solar energy has been more and more widely noticed and one of the most practical technology is the solar energy heat utilization. This paper gives energy balance equations and exergy balance equations of the main instruments in a typical solar assisted heat pump system and analyzes its performance and energy efficiency based on the viewpoint of thermodynamics. This method can be used in the design and evaluation of solar assisted heat pump system.
