Proceedings of the International Conference of Economics, Business, and Entrepreneur (ICEBE 2022)

Conference name: Proceedings of the International Conference of Economics, Business, and Entrepreneur (ICEBE 2022)
Date: 10 November 2022
Location: Bandar Lampung, Indonesia (Hybrid)
Website: https://icebe.feb.unila.ac.id/

Universitas Lampung, specifically the Faculty of Economics and Business, was honored to host the annual conference, the Fifth International Conference of Economics, Business, and Entrepreneur (ICEBE) 2022, which was held in Bandar Lampung City on the Indonesian Island of Sumatra on November 10, 2022. This year’s fifth ICEBE is slightly different because FEB Unila is holding activities independently. This year, ICEBE presents four speakers from four different countries, namely: Dr. Sri Hasnawati (University of Lampung), Dr. Oguz Demir (Istanbul Ticaret University, Turkey), Dr. Mehmet Yesilbas (Managing Director, Best Edit and Proof, USA), and Dr. David Tereladze (RANEPA, Russia). This event used a hybrid working model, combining in-person and Zoom online meetings. On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to every participant and presenter in this event.

The theme of the fifth ICEBE in 2022 was “Global Economy and Business Recovery Growth to Create a SustainableBusiness-Friendly Environment”. This international conference, which included keynote speakers from Turkey, Malaysia, the USA, Russia, and Indonesia, as mentioned before, was designed to provide a forum for the dissemination of specific alternative and significant advancements in the global economic recovery, with a focus on economics, business and health economics, management, accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, and technology and digital transformation. Therefore, we invited individuals with backgrounds in academia and the applied fields and those from businesses, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and educational institutions to submit their research papers, reflections, practitioner papers, panel proposals, and workshop ideas related to the event’s theme. Interdisciplinary perspectives on the topics of the conference were also welcome. All submitted papers underwent a double-blind peer review procedure to verify their quality, relevance, and originality. Despite some limitation and burdens of the time, we successfully received 59 papers from 24 institutions, both local and international participants.

We highly appreciate the organizing committee members’ tireless work to make this event successful and the reviewers’ dedication to reviewing submissions. Thus, we also sincerely thank Dean andVice Dean of FEBUnila for their endless support of this annual event. This conference would not have been possible without the authors’ outstanding submissions. Therefore, we also highly appreciate the work and participation of each author and participant in the fifth ICEBE 2022.

It is a pleasure for us to present cutting-edge research in economics and related disciplines. We hope that the knowledge presented in this volume of proceedings will be invaluable for students, researchers, and academics worldwide. Finally, we sincerely apologize for any issues that might have arisen during the event. We will continue to strive for improvement in the future. We are grateful that we were able to host such a successful conference.

We look forward to seeing you at the sixth ICEBE 2023.
