The present volume contains selected papers of the 2nd International Conference of Communication Science Research (ICCSR 2018), held on July 24-25, 2018 in Surabaya, Indonesia. The conference, organized by the Faculty of Communications Science, Dr. Soetomo University places emphasis on creating global media sphere in digital society. It had successfully invited almost 400 researchers and practitioners to send their abstracts. There were about 350 abstracts reviewed, 192 abstracts were selected and then presented in the conference, and only 104 papers selected to be published on this serial.

Regarding the publication, applause and thanks go to all publication teams that had devoted their time, constant support for making this publication possible. It will be a good start to deliver the important of International Publication to our community.
