Abstract

IPv6 has a massive address ,multicast ,neighbor discovery, auto-configuration, service quality, removable and many other new features, as the core technology of the next generation IP( Internet Protocol). IPv4 to IPv6 transition is imperative. This paper discusses how to achieve a smooth transition from IPv4 to IPv6 and researches deeply IPv6 tunneling technologies and IPv6 6to4 automatic tunneling technologies in the Windows circumstances.
