Abstract

Social practice is the ultimate source of cultural derivation and evolution, as well as an important carrier to cultivate cultural self-confidence of college students. Dunhuang culture is one of the representatives of excellent traditional Chinese culture. This paper probes into the effective paths to cultivate Dunhuang cultural self-confidence of college students through thorough preparation, participation, investigation, excavation and construction in the social practice of a college in northwest China to clarify cultural cognition, enrich cultural understanding, strengthen cultural identity and promote cultural innovation.
