- Abstract
In the flipped classroom model, students are required to complete autonomous learning task before class; otherwise the class activities will be affected. When in class, they must take active part in the activities to guarantee the quality of the flipped classroom. Therefore, compared with the traditional classroom, in the flipped classroom, it’s more necessary to stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm to make them have autonomous learning ability. Based on Dornyei's L2 motivational self-system, this paper focuses on how to give full play to students’ learning enthusiasm in the flipped classroom model, and tries to find an effective solution to improve students’ learning enthusiasm by building a specific motivational self model suitable for the college English flipped classroom.
