Proceedings of the 2014 International Conference on Advances in Education Technology
The 2014 International Conference on Advances in Education Technology (ICAET 2014) has been held on 16th October, 2014 in Bandung, Indonesia. The conference, which has been organized by Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia, aimed at bringing scientists, researchers and scholars to exchange, share, and discuss their experiences and research results about all aspects of integrating technology with teaching and learning and best practices and case studies on innovative technology-based learning strategies.
More than 80 papers have been submitted to this conference and the authors came from Turkey, Tunisia, India, Malaysia, and Indonesia. After a review process to the submitted papers, in which each paper has been reviewed by at least two reviewers, 40 papers have been accepted to be published in the proceedings of conference. The topic areas of the papers include: a) learning/teaching methodologies including blended learning, collaborative learning, multimedia-based learning, project-based learning, simulation-based learning, and web-based learning; b) ubiquitous learning covering mobile learning, technology-enhanced learning, technology support for pervasive learning, and virtual labs; and c) domain applications and case studies.
Finally, we would like to thank Institute of Research and Community Services, Institut Teknologi Bandung that subsidized the conference financially and Research Center for Information and Communication Technology, Institute of Research and Community Services, Institut Teknologi Bandung for technical support.
