Abstract

This paper studies the composition of Chinese composers' vocal music from the perspective of music score and piano score. The analysis shows that there are two main interactions in the vocal music works: duet, which combines and develops the reverse images (taking Busuanzi • Ode to Plum Flower as an example); the monologue, with the use of talk, resonance and commentary factors (taking Zhu Liangzhen’s Two Places as an example). The role of instrumental accompaniment in lyric songs is equally important, and sometimes it determines the ensemble relationship between singers and pianists.
