Abstract

At the present stage, physical education in our country faces important reform. The traditional teaching model in physical education has failed to meet the requirement in development of physical education. The reform of physical education is influenced by the following factors: gap between traditional teaching though and teaching practice in physical education; imbalance between configuration of teaching resources and teaching requirements; more attentions paid to teaching quality instead of physical education. According to the status quo of physical education in Chinese universities, feasible suggestions are proposed to solve problems in physical education.
