Abstract

In this paper, a novel hybrid structure of reflectarray with dielectric cylinder, metallic cylinder and metallic ground is designed. This structure can generate a pencil beam in a desired direction by adjusting its phase appropriately with its 1-dB gain bandwidth achieving 22.56%. Moreover, radiation patterns of the structure at different frequencies are in good consistency.
