- Abstract
Based on FA model and SFA model, this paper selects data of scientific research institutions of 28 provinces in 4 regions of China from 2010 to 2016, measures the comprehensive performance of domestic scientific research institutions, analyzes the impact of Manpower and capital input and environmental factors on the comprehensive performance of scientific research institutions and the stochastic convergence of the comprehensive performance of scientific research institutions. We found that: Firstly, The overall performance of domestic scientific research institutions is related to geographical regions. The eastern region has the highest performance with its output human-driven. The central region has the fastest improvement in performance and the western region has the lowest performance which fluctuates greatly with time. Both the eastern and western regions are capital-driven. Secondly, environmental factors affect different areas in different degrees.
