Abstract

Social development has prospered since the 21st century.Based on the prosperity,our material and cultural needs growing continuously.In terms of material needs, when people use goods, the demand is not only about function,they are eager to have a better experience.In terms of cultural needs, there should be outdoor public space for public activities, communication ,even rest and reading. Nowadays, the infrastructure of most campuses have some problems,such as aging, unreasonable layout, and single style.This article focus on outdoor public rest facilities of campuses ,and put forward innovative principles for updating and ideas of maintaining system through research and analysis.The purpose is to offer theoretical guidance and recommendations for campus public rest facilities planning and management.
