Abstract

In general, the problem of R&D project portfolio selec-tion (RDPPS) is to choose a set of project proposals that optimize certain impact measures designated by the deci-sion maker. In this paper we present a MILP model, that incorporates the most relevant aspects of the problem found in the literature, that supports both full (all or nothing) and partial (a certain amount between a minimum and a maximum value) resource allocation policies to projects. In most of the reviewed papers about RDPPS full allocation resources policies are implemented, a few implement partiall allocation policies, but most of them presents very simple models.
