- Abstract
“Journey to the West” is one of China’s four great classic novels, and occupies an important position in China’s literary history. It is also the treasure of Chinese splendid culture, with profound cultural heritage and extremely high literary value. This paper introduces Muhtar·Mehsut and Meryem·Memmtimin, the translators of the Uyghur translation of “Journey to the West”, and makes a brief comment on the status of the version, the background, the research status of translation strategies and the value and significance of the translation.
