Proceedings of the International Conference on Early Childhood Education and Parenting 2019 (ECEP 2019)

Early childhood education and development (ECED) plays important roles not only to the children’s individual development but also to the nation’s development. The Sustainable Development Goals 2030 has indicated that one of the indicators to achieve quality education is by ensuring that boys and girls would have equal access and participation to high quality ECE. The Indonesian government has addressed the significance of parenting in supporting ECE. The aim of this conference is to bring together policy-makers, academics, practitioners, researchers, and all other relevant parties sharing passion and concern over ECE and parenting issues, either from national or international entities. It is hoped that the conference will assist us in further rethink and reconceptualise the notion of access and participation in ECE context.
