The paper presents the technical description of a software package for extracting and processing of text content from social networks for the purpose of their use in developing of an academic success psychometric model. This model is based on a selected set of cognitive behavioral predictors of personal activity in the context of education. Source textual data consists of posts from the Vkontakte profile pages of students of Kazan Federal University. As the main method of data processing, text indexing and word frequency characteristics analysis for academically “successfull” and “not-successful” students. The intermediate results of the developed text indices analysis are also presented.
