- Abstract
Automatic detection and detection technologies are widely used in different areas. This article contains analysis of a face recognition problem, description of the problem, mathematical formulation of the problem, analysis of methods for solving it, proposed approach, and the results of the experiment. The proposed approach to solving the problem as a set of methods (i.e., histogram equalization; color image segmentation in RGB color space based on color saliency; measure distances between markers attached to facial landmarks; nearest neighbor algorithm) implemented at different steps assures a positive result. The results obtained in the course of experimental studies allow us to conclude that the developed software based on the above methods also provides a positive result.
