The International Scientific and Practical Conference "Current issues of linguistics and didactics: The interdisciplinary approach in humanities" was held on the 10-12th of May 2017. The conference, held in Volgograd, Russia, was organized by Volgograd State University.
The Conference also provides an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners and scholars to present and to discuss the most recent innovations and developments in the field of new cognitive technologies, international education and education methods in primary, secondary and higher education, linguistic and linguosemiotic aspects of the world languages, educational technologies and ICT applied to humanitarian research, state educational policy and creating educational environment for students with special needs. In the course of the discussion, the participants took into consideration both new achievements and the possibilities of their practical application..
Full papers submitted to the conference were peer reviewed by at least two reviewers per manuscript. There were 112 manuscripts submitted to the conference; 64 of them were selected for publication in this proceeding..
