Abstract

Mankind’s excessive seizure of natural resources has led to increasingly severe ecological problems, posing a huge threat to human survival. As a result, ecological education has attracted the attention of the general public in recent years. The method of ecological art education combines ecological education and ecological art. It enhances students’ critical thinking ability while, at the same time, promoting public awareness regarding the protection of the natural environment. In order to achieve the strategic goals of “carbon emission peak and carbon neutrality” defined by the central government, ecological art education should make its due contribution and become a direction for the development of art education in colleges and universities.
