Abstract

By interpreting the concept and elements of new countryside, this paper explains the subjective and objective basis of new countryside design and construction, in order to interpret the content and system of rural cultural design, especially its necessity. Rural design needs to define its concept and cultural category according to the “three rural” problems in China’s rural areas in the new era and their profound historical roots, as well as the practical needs. New rural design includes the design of productivity and its forms of expression, the content of rural population’s life and its corresponding forms of expression, and the design of various social security systems, And the education system design needed for the improvement of rural humanistic quality. Improving rural environmental design has great historical and practical significance.
