Abstract

The article describes the structure of technologies for increasing the strength of the cutting part of the saw. The article also presents the results of analysis of existing technologies (metallization and surfacing, welding, doping methods), allowing one to obtain a composite with specified characteristics. The described technologies are generally characterized by the creation of a composite laminate based on the application of coatings, which, in assessing the performance, introduces an additional criterion for adhesion strength. This, in turn, is the main criterion for the operational performance of the cutting tool.
