Abstract

The meteorological data color mapping method is proposed according to the type, spatial frequency characteristics of the meteorological data as well as the human perceptual awareness and color theory. The specific color mapping step of high and low spatial frequency meteorological data have been given respectively. The results show that this method can provide a scientific and artistry color mapping for meteorological data.
