Abstract

In this paper, the author makes use of the characteristics of UWB (Ultra Wideband) signals, proposed a new approach to so achieve the time synchronization in distributed wireless communication networks. In order to validate our ideas and evaluate the performance of the algorithm, we built a test platform, and implemented the time synchronization algorithm on the platform. The final test results show that the new algorithm using UWB signal can achieve time synchronization and the synchronization accuracy is about 50 s.
