- Abstract
This study aims to find alternative learning in the COVID-19 pandemic situation, where the government forbids the implementation of lectures on campus (classes), while lectures must continue. One of the subjects in charge of developing teaching skills or teaching skills is microteaching. Virtual microteaching based on Search-Analysis-Practicing-Reflection (SAPR) activities may serve as an alternative in developing teaching skills of prospective science-physics teacher students. The model was developed using the Tessmer approach and validated by educational technology media experts from several universities in the province of Jambi-Indonesia. The trial was conducted on a group of prospective science-physics teacher students. Based on the results of research, virtual microteaching with all its stages can be used as an alternative in improving teaching skills of prospective science-physics teachers.
