HMG to Launch New Journal with Atlantis Press
The Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group (HMG) reached an agreement with Atlantis Press today about the provision of publishing services to their new journal, the Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Journal, which is to be launched at the beginning of 2019. HMG is one of the leading healthcare providers in the Middle East region which owns and operates several hospitals and medical centers in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. The deal marks another step for Atlantis Press in its objective to expand the current journals portfolio across all STM disciplines including health and medical sciences.
The Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Journal will support multidisciplinary medical research and aims to publish articles on important contributions in all areas of medicine and health professions, as well as evaluations of health care practice in different health sectors and geographical regions. It also aims to be an essential resource for anyone involved in medical practice, including clinicians, researchers, educators, managers, policy makers and students. The journal will publish original research articles, reviews, case reports and short communications, as well as comparisons and evaluations of medical practices in different social, cultural and geographical settings.
The Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Journal will be an open access journal which is scheduled to appear quarterly. The journal will be open for submissions before the end of December 2018 with the first issue expected to be published in March 2019.
