Global Usage Distribution

Global Usage Distribution gives an indication of the worldwide usage for a journal by country and by region during its lifetime. The world map above shows the total sum of all article downloads from the journal by country, where the size of the bubble for a particular country is a measure of the volume of downloads from that country (hover over the bubble to see the exact number of downloads and how that country ranks in terms of usage compared to other countries). The table below the map groups the usage by region. Note that download numbers include all types of access, but exclude robot traffic and other artificial usage.

Atlantis Press journals are generally international by nature and therefore have a global readership. This metric intends to visualize the geographical spread of a journal's readership and the relationships between countries for which the journal has relevance.
