Abstract

This article aims to re-examine the adaptation of literary works by film and television works, as well as its significance and value in literary inheritance and cultural dissemination. By analyzing the cross-border interaction between literary works and film and television works, the interpretation and reinterpretation of original works by film and television adaptations, and the inheritance and innovation of literary works, the impact of film and television adaptations on literary works is discussed. At the same time, taking the film and television adaptations of works such as “A Dream of Red Mansions”, “Red Sorghum” and “The Three Body Problem” as examples, it discusses how film and television adaptations respect the author and protect the copyright of the original work, the influence of film and television works on public aesthetics and cultural identity, as well as the relationship between literature and The challenges of integrating film and television arts. Finally, prospects and suggestions are put forward for future research on film and television adaptations to promote the positive interaction and development of literary works and film and television art.
