Abstract

In this paper, the historical context of the art of crop straw in the traditional folk art, the art form of expression, the traditional process and the operation skills are studied, in order to lay a theoretical foundation for the protection and renovation work of straw art in the future. The results show that the use of modern aesthetic design concept, renewal design method and art expression form can effectively increase the commercial and social value of straw art. The successful research of this project will provide technical reference for the research and innovation of other folk art in the consumption culture.
